At first, it might feel unfamiliar - even uncomfortable- but the more you surrender to the rhythm, the more you unlock.


Intuitive dance is an integral part of my women’s retreats, where it becomes a powerful practice for self-expression, release, and embodiment. As one of our retreat guests shared, "I wasn’t a fan of this at first, but the more I immersed myself, the more I actually felt the benefits." While it’s incredibly transformative in the retreat setting, intuitive dance is also a powerful practice you can do at home, anytime. Whether you’re alone in your living room or moving through a busy day, you can always tune into your body, surrender to the rhythm, and unlock the freedom and energy within you - and I deeply encourgae you to try it!!


 

What's the Importance of Intuitive Dance For Everyday Life?

Life can often feel structured, rushed, and disconnected from our deeper selves. We sit at desks, move through routines, and carry tension in our bodies without realizing it. Intuitive dance breaks that cycle, allowing us to:

5-Minute Intuitive Dance Practice:

1️⃣ Set an Intention: Take a deep breath and choose a focus: release stress, cultivate joy, or ignite confidence.

2️⃣ Put on Music: Pick a song that moves you - sensual, powerful, uplifting, or grounding.

3️⃣ Start Slow: Sway, roll your shoulders, or move your hips to awaken your energy.

4️⃣ Let Go: Build heat by shaking, spinning, or flowing however your body desires. Trust your instincts.

5️⃣ Pause & Integrate: When you feel complete, place your hands on your heart and take a few deep breaths, absorbing the shift.
