ABOUT THIS RETREAT

This 4 night / 5 day retreat is set away in the Green Mountain State of Vermont, allowing us to disconnect in order to reconnect. The location gives us a chance to immerse ourselves in the simplicity of nature - giving us a break from our hectic lives while restoring and rejuvenating ourselves back to our center in order to discover our True Nature.

We will be learning and practicing Vinyasa and Ashtanga Yoga, Pranayama and Meditation techniques, Yoga Philosophy (8 Limbs of Yoga), and Ayurvedic studies; food as medicine and the the importance of routine. In addition we will spend time journaling, hiking, adventuring, relaxing, and building intentional community; the feeling that life is best when shared.

Getting deeper into the classes you will learn how to surrender to the flow in Vinyasa, discover freedom and discipline in Ashtanga, reconnect to your center through breath work and meditation, find peace and calmness within the simplicity of nature, practice gratitude for the food that nourishes you, and develop a life of more meaning & fulfillment via the 8-limbs

This yoga retreat is a great opportunity for someone to move out of their comfort zone (where - let's face it - nothing exciting ever happens) and get to know themselves on a deeper level. As we begin to learn who we truly are and find more love and appreciation for ourselves we not only become stronger for us but also for others. This allows us to build a solid foundation for community; discovering we are better together.

THIS RETREAT IS FOR YOU:

The wanderer, wonderer, adventurer, explorer and yogi / yogini looking for some space to reset, renew and restore yourself in order to reconnect with who you are at the core of your being.

You seek to live a life of meaning and fulfillment, and you desire to know yourself and filter your decisions & choices through who you believe and claim you are.

You love nature, being outside, exploring new places, diving deeper into the practice of yoga as a whole, meeting other like-minded people, and having time to yourself where you can reflect,  rest and decompress.

THREE THINGS YOU WILL GET OUT OF THIS RETREAT:

1. An opportunity to delve into the Eight Limbs of Yoga and discover how to bring these practices off the mat and into your everyday world, enabling you to live life with more meaning and fulfillment.

2. A chance to be in the simplicity of the great outdoors with peace and quiet where you can connect to your inner essence and be guided back h(OM)e to who you are at the core of your being.

3. Community building; all FSW Retreats has a focus on building KULA; intentional community, the feeling that life is best when shared. These retreats bring together like-hearted and minded individuals, encouraging life-long friendship to be made.

A NOTE FROM CAROLE:

Words cannot express how happy I am that you're here. This retreat has been on my heart and mind for years and the fact that it has come to fruition has made me jump and down with joy.

Vermont was my first home; where I was born and raised and lived for the first 22 years of my life - I know it like the back of my hand. Although I've been away for 7 years now, it will always be home.

Why? Because Vermont is not your average state - it's magical.

It's welcoming, accepting & loving of all beings, the landscape is picturesque, the air is crisp and fresh, the food is farm-to-table and encourages a healthy lifestyle, it's filled with rolling hills, opens skies, rivers, lakes and mountains which creates a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Oh, and let's not forget the stellar view of the stars and milky way galaxy at night!

It is my honor to lead this retreat and welcome you into my home; I aim to create a space where you feel deeply connected and a sense of belonging, guiding you back home to your own inner essence.

Much love,

Carole the freespiritedwanderer

TESTIMONIALS FROM PAST RETREATS

What People Say

This was a huge, scary commitment for me- with small children at home it seemed impossible to leave and to spend that amount of time and money on myself but I did it and I am so happy I did. It was such an amazing experience that I didn’t know I needed till I was there. Carole was absolutely wonderful!! She is such a beautiful soul, working with her was a delight. I would highly recommend taking a retreat with Carole, I can’t wait to go again.
