namaste and welcome to my blog - a wanderer's words. my name is carole, i am 25 years old, i reside in charlotte, north carolina and have a passion for yoga & meditation, music, free spirit wandering, traveling, vegan / vegetarian cooking, and being happy.
to tell you a little about myself…i graduated college with a business degree from a small school in vermont. i also studied abroad in spain, india, and cambodia which helped broaden my outlook on life. my studies in india and cambodia consisted of buddhist philosophy which has taught me the value of life and happiness. I have traveled to 16 countries and 4 continents and have a strong desire to see the rest of the world. It is safe to say i have been bit by the travel bug and developed a case of wanderlust.
in september 2014 i traveled to pokhara, nepal and completed a 200 hour yoga teacher training . i am now a registered yoga instructor with yoga alliance. becoming a yoga instructor has been a dream of mine since I was 18 and this experience helped me develop my mind and body into a deeper yogic lifestyle. in january 2018 i will be traveling to kerala, india for my advanced (300 hour) yoga teacher training - giving me 500 hours of training.
the purpose of a wanderer's words is to share information and tips on traveling, healthy recipes, a healthy soul, healthy mind, inner beauty, music playlists, yoga, meditation, and how to be happy. i hope i can inspire my readers to adapt a lifestyle of adventure, travel, yoga, meditation, and health! my aim is to give insight to those who are interested in enhancing their life or starting a new journey. i also hope to inspire everyone to follow their heart and work hard with passion and focus towards their dreams. i hope you enjoy a wanderer's words and learn to become your own unique freespiritedwanderer.
